Eleni’s Sister Accepts Inspiration Award on her Behalf

Step-by-Step Charitable Foundation and North Shore-LIJ Cancer Institute honored Eleni with the Inspiration Award at the organization’s third annual End-of-Year Benefit held on November 12, 2015 (the 3-year anniversary of Eleni’s cancer diagnosis).  The award was accepted on her behalf by sister and Vice President of EPOC, Niki Dounis.  All funds raised by Step-by-Step Charitable Foundation in 2015 were dedicated to Gastrointestinal (GI) Cancer research and support programs at North Shore-LIJ Cancer Institute in honor of Eleni’s courageous fight.
